The safety and well-being of all of our members and staff are crucial and an utmost priority for the Greater Morristown YMCA, and we continue to work diligently to create a safe and welcoming environment for the community we serve.

We are pleased to announce that we have recently integrated the “Trusted Screening” platform which will provide an added layer of security at the Greater Morristown YMCA. All members, visitors, guests, and vendors, 18 and over, will be screened against the Registered Sex Offender (RSO) database through Daxko’s partnership with Raptor Technologies, a leading provider of facility safety for schools and other community organizations.

Starting Wednesday, December 3rd, anyone new entering the Greater Morristown YMCA will be asked to provide their state or government-issued identification card, which will be scanned through a vast database covering all 50 states. Any potential threats will be identified immediately, and law enforcement will be notified as necessary. Additionally, the existing membership database will be screened continuously to ensure no new matches are found.

Please feel free to contact us with any questions. Thank you for your continued support and understanding as we work to continue making the Greater Morristown YMCA a safe and welcoming environment for all.

Sincerely,

The Greater Morristown YMCA
