I would like to share an important update regarding our Aquatics Department.
After over 13 years of dedicated service to the Greater Morristown YMCA, with 10 years as Aquatics Director, Alanna will be transitioning from her role to pursue a new career as a registered nurse at Morristown Medical Center. Over the past two years, Alanna has successfully balanced her full-time responsibilities at the YMCA while also pursuing a nursing degree. While she will be stepping away from her full-time position, I am pleased to share that she will continue to support our department on a weekly basis.
I am deeply grateful for Alanna’s passion, professionalism, and the lasting impact she has had on the Greater Morristown YMCA community and aquatics programs. She has been a valued colleague and leader, and she will be greatly missed. Please join me in thanking her for her contributions and wishing her continued success in this next chapter.
I am pleased to report that Scott will be stepping into the Director role. Scott brings nearly 20 years of experience in aquatics, including 12 years in aquatics management within various YMCA organizations. I am confident that his expertise and leadership will further strengthen and enhance our programs.
We are also actively interviewing candidates for the Assistant Director of Aquatics position and will keep you informed as the process moves forward.
