Attending a class with others who are motivated to get fit and have fun will inspire you to keep healthy and try something new every time you come into our Y! With over 120 classes offered each week, you're sure to find a class to fit your interest and fitness level. We have three fitness studios - a traditional aerobic studio with wooden flooring, a dance studio and a 40 bike spin room. Try one today!

Introduction to Personal Training
Are you tired of working out and not getting results? Have you been curious about our Personal Training program?
The Greater Morristown YMCA personal trainers are here to help you reach your fitness goals. Your certified trainer will keep your workouts challenging and keep progressing each session to meet your current fitness level and improve your overall health. We would like to help you achieve your goals. This package consists of 3 private 1 hour (or 6 half hour) sessions with a Certified Personal Trainer for only $120. As always, before starting any new fitness routine it is important to consult your doctor.

Intense Cardio Circuit Training
Pressed for time? This fast paced class gives a total-body workout. Basic and advanced strength training exercises are blended with agility and balance exercises to optimize your time in the gym without putting too much stress on the joints. Class meets in the Circuit Room and is led by Certified Instructors/Personal Trainers. Registration Required.
Days: Tuesdays 9:15-10:10AM (4/10/18-6/26/18) -OR-
Fridays 9:30-10:25 AM (4/13/18-6/29/18)
Healthy Heart & Wellness Program
This three-month program is open to anyone but specifically designed for those who want to improve or maintain their heart health, whether or not htey have had surgery or a cardiac event. Participant's vitals are monitored closely and the class includes walking, light weights, flexibility and even some dancing to the big bands, swing and 1950s music that plays. Registration is required. Non-members welcome.
Days: Monday, Wednesday & Friday (4/3/18-6/29/18)
Fee: $100 for GMY Members
$200 for Non-Members
TRX Suspension Training
Suspension training body weight exercise develops strength, balance, flexibility and core stability, simultaneously. Your core will constantly be challenged to stabilize your movements against the forces of gravity. 6 week sessions. Registration is required.
Fee: $65 for the 6 week session

Sports & Chair Massage
Massage reduces tension and pain while increasing flexibility, improving circulation and helping muscle recovery after a tough workout. Chair massage targets the neck, shoulders, and back while a deep-tissue sports massage can focus on legs, arms, shoulders or back. All sessions are 15 minutes. Available Monday - Friday.
Fees: $25 for Chair Massage

Reiki is a simple, safe and effective means of stress reduction, pain management and deep relaxation. Many experience profound emotional, spiritual and physical healing from this holistic technique. If feels like a wonderful, glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Ali is a certified Reiki master with years of experience. We highly recommend you to try it out!
Fees: $30 per 1/2 hour session

Combine Personal Training with Classes for Optimum Fitness! A complete exercise program should include a balanced amount of cardio, strength and flexibility training. This can be achieved by working with a personal trainer who might combine all areas into one session or by taking any of the myriad fitness classes offered at the YMCA. For optimum fitness try combining both personal training and group exercise training to give you a personalized balance between these areas of fitness.
Get your one-on-one motivation with your trainer and get group motivation with a class. Taking group exercise classes can be challenging and fun. If others can do it, so can you! For over 50 years, NJ School of Ballet has provided top quality instruction to thousands of students. Classes are held here at The Greater Morristown YMCA in our beautiful ballet studio, complete with proper flooring, mirrors and ballet bars. All levels. Classes are held on Wednesdays and Fridays from September through June. Children ages 4 and up, teens and adults of all levels welcome. Fees vary. Jersey Club Sports runs and organizes both these co-ed leagues at our YMCA. Join fun loving, sports minded people for great games that anyone can play. The fun usually continues at a local pub.
